TALLERES HERGA
Laser cutting and engraving, accuracy and quality
LASER CUTTING is the last implemented novelty in HERGA Manufacturing, which provides the possibility to enlarge our product and finishing range for cutting of thick sheet metal with very good results, even from soft iron as for stainless steel in a clean and quick way.
The Laser Cutting process provides and indispensable tool for obtaining complex-shaped parts with high accuracy and final quality. A highlight is the wide engraving possibilities onto any metal sheet surface.
Maximum cutting dimensions are 3000x1500mm
The Laser beam is sourced through an active material, in this case is gas, which when excited by an external energy source -which can be luminous, electrical, etc- emits laser luminous radiation.
This is sourced into a resonator, basically a two-mirror chamber in its extremes where the luminous radiation gets amplified.
Deflector mirrors are used for directing the laser beam towards the cut area. Once in the cutting nozzle the light is focused decreasing the beam diameter, which increases power and thus its temperature.

Maximum cutting dimensions are 3000x1500mm
- Positioning accuracy of 0,03mm.
- Cutting thicknesses for steel up to 22mm, up to 12mm for stainless steel & up to 6mm for aluminium.
- The high cutting profile quality leads to eliminate any further mechanical finishing.
